■International Symposium on Integrated Biorefinery and Bioindustry Transition

This international symposium, hosted by Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, focuses on integrated biorefineries and the transition toward a sustainable bioindustry.

Yumiko Kusakabe, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of PtBio, will participate as a panel speaker, sharing insights on industry-academia collaboration, open innovation, the social implementation of genome editing technologies, and PtBio’s experience in expanding these innovations into global markets.

■Synthetic Biology and Intelligent Biomanufacturing: Advanced Food and Energy Security

This international workshop, hosted by Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, focuses on precision fermentation, synthetic biology, and industrial biotechnology. The event brings together experts from academia, research institutions, industry, and government to discuss the social implementation of biotechnology and the promotion of industry-academia collaboration.

Yumiko Kusakabe, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of PtBio, will speak at the workshop, introducing PtBio’s business activities and sharing our experience in translating research outcomes in the food and agriculture sectors into real-world applications and commercial ventures.

■CSHL meetings - Genome Engineering: CRISPR Frontiers

Kazuki Nakamae (Assistant Professor, Joint Research Chair, Genome Editing Innovation Center, Hiroshima University), who also serves as the team leader of the BioDX Team, will participate and present a poster on “PtWAVE,” the software we have released that enables highly sensitive and accurate measurement of genome editing activity.
