Facing global societal challenges such as climate change, emerging infectious diseases, and decarbonization, Japan's Cabinet Office Bioeconomy Strategy sets the goal of leveraging our nation's strengths to expand the bioeconomy market, thereby achieving both the resolution of these challenges and sustainable economic growth.  

 

Against this backdrop, our company, guided by the vision “Unlocking future with Biotechnology,” is tackling societal challenges as a platform provider of BioDX technology—which analyzes the genomic information of organisms used in industry—and genome editing technology—which designs that genomic information.  

 

We are advancing R&D to achieve “universal access to food” through eggs that can be consumed even by those with egg allergies, “carbon recycling” using microalgae that convert carbon dioxide into useful substances, as well as cutting-edge medical treatments for intractable diseases, resource-circulating agriculture, stable supply of aquatic resources, and bio-manufacturing.
