Representatives from the World Intellectual Property Organization Visited PtBio: 2026-06-30

PtBio welcomed Setsuko Asami, PCT Consultant, and Yosuke Matsubara, Counsellor, from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

During the visit, we exchanged views on a wide range of topics, including PtBio’s business initiatives—such as the development of Allergy-free Egg Products—our intellectual property strategy, and the challenges faced by university-born startups.

The valuable insights and advice we received will help further strengthen our intellectual property strategy as we continue working to bring genome editing technologies developed in Japan to address global challenges.
