On Wednesday, January 22, 2025, our CEO, Mr. Okuhara, had the privilege of introducing our company’s initiatives to students during a Career Exploration Seminar held at Hiroshima Municipal Motomachi High School (Naka Ward, Hiroshima City; Principal: Noriyuki Tokumaru). This seminar is organized to help students broaden their perspectives and develop a multifaceted understanding of their desired career paths, supporting their aspirations as they prepare to step into society.

The seminar began on a friendly note with the distribution of “Egg for All” brochures and candies bearing the logo of the Japan Bio-DX Promotion Organization, accompanied by the invitation, “Feel free to enjoy these as you listen.” However, as Mr. Okuhara delved into the company’s profile, its research and development, the societal challenges we aim to address, and our plans for global expansion, the students listened with great interest and focus.
The students’ curiosity was evident through their thoughtful questions, such as:
“Does genome-edited food offer higher safety?”
“What’s the difference between genome editing and genetic modification?”
“If two chickens with ovomucoid removed are bred, will their offspring also lack ovomucoid?”
“What are the future prospects for allergen-reduced eggs?”
For us, this was also a valuable opportunity to engage with high school students. Thank you for your enthusiasm and interest!
