■FA Consortium Forum

March 4 (Wed)

The FA Consortium Forum is jointly organized by BRAIN, one of Japan’s national funding agencies, with sponsorship from NEDO and JST. Through initiatives such as the SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) program, these three organizations collaborate to support deep-tech startups and small and medium-sized enterprises across a wide range of fields—from energy to agriculture—providing integrated assistance from research and development through commercialization.

At this forum, our Chief Operating Officer, Atsuhiro Ishii, will deliver a pitch presentation. His talk will focus on data-driven breeding and functional material development powered by bioinformatics analysis.

■The 2026 Annual Meeting of the JSBBA

March 9 (Mon) – March 12 (Thu)

The Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry (JSBBA) holds research meetings and academic events throughout Japan. Its Annual Meeting, held once each spring, is one of the largest gatherings in the fields of chemistry and life sciences, featuring approximately 1,800 presentations and attracting around 4,200 participants.

On March 10 (Tue), during the conference period, Hiromasa Ono, Director of the Business Development Department at our company, will speak at a luncheon seminar. His presentation, titled“PtBio’s Data-Driven Approach: Digital Breeding of Industrially Useful Organisms Powered by BioDX,”will introduce practical case studies from our BioDX initiatives.
