PtBio Selected for JETRO Hiroshima’s Overseas Expansion Support Program: 2026-06-11

PtBio has been selected for the “Hiroshima Global Connection 2026” program, an overseas business expansion support initiative for startups organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Hiroshima.

The program aims to help startups take the next step toward global expansion by providing tailored recommendations from JETRO’s wide range of international business support services and offering continuous follow-up through regular progress meetings.

In March 2025, PtBio established its Malaysian subsidiary, PtBio ASIA SDN. BHD. Since then, the company has significantly accelerated its global expansion across Asia through initiatives such as signing Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with leading research institutions and companies in India, and participating in a research project in Saudi Arabia focused on developing drought-tolerant plants.

Through the support provided by JETRO Hiroshima, PtBio will further strengthen collaboration with diverse partners around the world and contribute even more to solving global challenges through biotechnology.
