■TSUNAGU HIROSHIMA 2025

TSUNAGU HIROSHIMA 2025 is an event designed to connect local businesses and startups, with the aim of passing down Hiroshima’s world-class industries to the next generation. Led by local financial institutions, media organizations, venture capital firms, and partner companies and organizations, the event will feature seminars and case studies on open innovation, as well as one-on-one business meetings.

Platinum Bio Inc. will exhibit at the event, and on November 6 (Thu), our CEO, Keisuke Okuhara, will join a talk session titled:“The Challenge of a CEO Who Jumped into a University-launched Venture — Toward the Commercialization of Research Seeds.”

■Japan Association of Biotechnology Education 30th Anniversary Online Seminar

November 6 (Thu)

The Japan Association of Biotechnology Education (JABE) was established to enhance and advance biotechnology education, foster organizations capable of responding to social needs related to biotechnology education, and promote collaboration and the social recognition of those engaged in biotechnology. Through these activities, the association aims to contribute to the public good and the advancement of the biotechnology community.

To commemorate its 30th anniversary, JABE will host an online seminar featuring Professor Hiroyuki Horiuchi of Hiroshima University—who also serves as a Scientific and Technical Advisor to PtBio Inc. Professor Horiuchi will give a lecture on the topic:“What Are Low-Allergen Eggs?”

■Agribusiness Creation Fair 2025

November 26(Wed)-28(Fri)

This event, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan (MAFF), brings together smart agriculture technology manufacturers and startups from across the country. It aims to present the latest research achievements in the agriculture, forestry, and food sectors in an accessible way, while facilitating networking and collaboration between exhibitors and visitors.

At the main stage seminar, “Innovative Agri-Food Tech Startups Gather!”, our COO, Atsuhiro Ishii, will take the stage to deliver a presentation titled:

“Social Implementation of Allergy-free Egg Products Eggs to Achieve Food Accessibility for All.”
