Dr. Kazuki Nakamae was honored with the Poster Award at the 8th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Genome Editing!
<Title
DANGER Analysis: A Novel Off-target Analysis Tool to Assess Phenotypic Effects
<Comments from Dr. Nakamae
I am grateful for the support I received from Dr.Bono and others, which made it possible for me to achieve this award. I would like to express my gratitude to all of them.
In this study, we have developed a genome editing safety evaluation technology, that has the potential to be utilized not only for non-model organisms whose genomes have not been fully read, but also for personal genomes/cancer genomes that exhibit significant deviations from the reference genomes. By further advancing this technology, we hope to bring genome editing to society in a safer and more reliable manner.
