Platinum TALEN and TALE-ND1
Platinum TALEN and TALE-ND1 have a clear and well-consolidated licensing position, making it well suited to industrial applications. It also delivers high genome editing efficiency with a low risk of off-target mutations.
A further advantage is the high degree of certainty that, when delivered in protein form, no exogenous nucleic acid remains — placing the product outside the scope of the Cartagena Act (i.e., it does not constitute a living modified organism). (Please check the regulations regarding the handling of genome-edited organisms.)
Process
- Inquiry — Please begin by contacting us.
- Design & Construction — We design and construct the optimal Platinum TALEN and TALE-ND1 for your specified target gene. Target gene identification is also available as an option.
- Cleavage Activity Evaluation — We construct a vector for activity assessment and introduce it into cells together with the Platinum TALEN or TALE-ND1 to evaluate cleavage activity.

Basic Plan
From JPY 700,000 (excluding tax) Includes plasmid construction, cleavage activity assessment at the target sequence, and mRNA synthesis.

- Deliverable format: IVT mRNA
About Our Plans
- Delivery in protein form is also available. Please contact us if this is of interest.
- For research applications, we offer plans that additionally permit the provision of genome-edited materials to collaborating partners, continued use, and application to drug screening. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
- Use for purposes other than research is not permitted. Commercial use requires a separate license agreement; please contact us if you are considering such use.
