The Japan Innovation Campus (JIC) is an innovation hub in Silicon Valley sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan, which is a partnership of private companies including local accelerators and venture capitalists, world-class universities and academic institutions, and government agencies including the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). JETRO and other government agencies are collaborating with industry, academia, and government to strongly support the business expansion and overseas expansion of the selected members.
PtBio is promoting the overseas development of “Allergy-reduced eggs that can be eaten by people with egg allergies if heated,” and will accelerate its efforts by utilizing the JIC's network.
