We met up with PtB on Friday, December 13, 2024.
We have a complete remote working system, but once a year we have a meet-up where all of the board members and staff members get to meet each other.
The first part is a general meeting and a commemorative photo session, and the second part is a standing buffet party.
In the first part, CEO Okuhara and CTO Yamamoto spoke to the whole group about "Working in a Venture Company". Then, each member who joined our company in the past year gave a brief introduction.
The theme of the second part of the party was "Merry Christmas & Thank you for another year" in honor of December, and participants enjoyed various events planned by the Corporate Planning Department.
Santa Claus came to the party to exchange gifts. Everyone formed a big circle and passed an envelope in time to the music, and when the music stopped, the envelope in hand was opened to reveal a Christmas gift for ・・・・2!
Also, in the PtBio Kanji of the Year 2024, each member voted for the Kanji of the Year for PtB 2024, and after deliberation by the board members, the chosen one was... "Flying"!
In addition, in the Quiz★Millionaire-style quiz contest, three staff members who had a life event to celebrate in 2024 were challenged! They used their lifelines to answer the difficult quiz questions that were randomly assigned to all employees.
Finally, a hidden performance contest was held. This was a musical instrument performance by the PtBiorchestra, which was formed by those nominated on the spot. The eight members nominated the day before performed "Song of Joy" based on their usual conversation and whether or not they had experience with musical instruments. We were able to discover some unexpected special skills.
The participants were able to deepen the exchange with members who are not usually able to meet face to face, and had an enjoyable time with many smiling faces.
